60-day limit for storing Zoom recordings
Posted November 3, 2020 in Educational Technology News, JMU Libraries News
If you store Zoom recordings using Zoom’s cloud storage, please note that a 60-day limit has been set to ensure JMU stays within its institutional storage quota for Zoom. This means that your Zoom recordings will be automatically deleted 60 days after they were created.
We recognize that some of your Zoom recordings may be important enough to keep for longer than 60 days. With this in mind, JMU Libraries and JMU IT created a new Zoom Cloud Recording Storage guide. Please visit this guide for instructions for moving your media to longer-term media storage options, including:
- OneDrive for Business
- Canvas Studio
- YouTube
- Local storage (such as a local computer or external hard drive)
