You’re invited to the opening reception of a new art exhibit in the Music Library featuring art that illustrates the complexity, tension, and beauty of music.

Music possesses an inherent beauty and structure that can deeply impact a person’s mood and psyche. In this series of drawings, JMU student Myer Y. Kim explores how musical notation can be transformed into unique artistic and design forms.

Join us for the exhibit opening reception in the Music Library (in the basement of the Music Building, on the Quad) on Friday, April 11, from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be provided.
