About me

As the assistant to the Music Library I am the Music Library’s primary contact for Course Reserves, Interlibrary Loan (ILL), Access & Delivery, and the Alma Governance Board. Within the Music Library I oversee the MusiCommons computer lab, equipment loans, audio technology, stacks maintenance, and the Music Library’s Special Collections. I also assist the Music Library Services Manager, Karen Snively, with hiring, training, and supervising the Music Library’s Wage staff and student employees.

B.S. Recording Industry Management, Middle Tennessee State University (2008)

First in class from the College of Mass Communication with a focus in Production & Technology and a minor in Electronic Media Communication

Trivia

  • In 2004 the 108th US Congress convened a day’s session in my honor. I was given the flag that flew over the US capital. I also received letters from the President, Vice President, and several Supreme Court Justices congratulating me on the honor and thanking me for my public service.
  • Two series of my photographs have been used as classroom examples in the photography programs of three universities.
