About me

Inspired by the JMU mission statement and values, as well as a desire for professional growth, I began my journey with the university in 2017. Focusing my efforts alongside my interests, I joined the telecommunications team as a technician. It was there that I developed a variety of skills essential to the fundamental network function of administrative and academic facilities campus-wide.

During my time there I earned my certifications as a Le Grande Network Installer as well as a Fiber Optics Installer at Corning HQ in Charlotte, NC. After four years with Telecom I took my layer 1 network skills and joined the Classroom Technology Services Team as a Instructional Equipment and Applications Specialist. In this role I assist in installing, maintaining, and supporting classroom technology for our learners at James Madison University.

Education and Certifications:

Extron Certified A/V Associate

Corning Certified Fiber Optics Installer

LeGrande Certified Network Installer
