About me

Kayleigh Bishop is a Library Services Specialist at JMU Libraries. They earned a B.A. in English with minors in Creative Writing and Asian Studies from James Madison University in 2020, and an M.A. in English from James Madison University in 2023. 

About Academic Engagement

Academic Engagement is a new, public-facing division of the Libraries, under formation now. Departments include Library and Information Services, the Music Library, Research & Education Services, and Digital Scholarship and Distinctive Collections, which includes Digital Projects and Special Collections.

About Library and Information Services

We connect JMU’s diverse communities with the Libraries’ resources through a holistic approach to front-line services. We staff the main service desks in Carrier and Rose Libraries and coordinate the Ask the Library service. We provide support for checking out materials, help people find library items and electronic resources in our collections, and work closely with other Libraries’ departments to seamlessly connect people with the resources and expertise they need.
