About me

As the Head of Web & Application Services in JMU Libraries, I lead a team of user experience designers and application administrators that develop front-end interfaces for websites and web applications, administer the Libraries’ WordPress services, support video management tools, administer the library services platform, and support collaboration tools among other responsibilities.  I joined JMU Libraries in 2006.

In addition to my role in the Libraries, I am an adjunct instructor in JMU’s School of Media Arts & Design.

We administer and support a wide range of library and educational technologies. Teams include Systems, Operations, & Support and Web & Application Services.

About Web & Application Services

We manage our web presences and web applications in addition to administering video management services, tools for internal collaboration, and user-focused library services platforms.

About Discovery, Access, and Technology

We are responsible for collections, metadata, and technology. Departments include Access and Delivery, Interlibrary Loan and Course Reserves, Metadata Strategies, Collection Administration, Scholarly Communications Strategies, and Technology.
