About me
Bri is a Library Services Specialist based out of Rose Library where she supervises JMU Libraries’ Virtual Services. She has worked in various library roles such as circulation, reference, and tech services in both public and academic libraries since 2017. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in December of 2018 with a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) and a concentration in Archival Studies.
About Library and Information Services
We connect JMU’s diverse communities with the Libraries’ resources through a holistic approach to front-line services. We staff the main service desks in Carrier and Rose Libraries and coordinate the Ask the Library service. We provide support for checking out materials, help people find library items and electronic resources in our collections, and work closely with other Libraries’ departments to seamlessly connect people with the resources and expertise they need.
About Academic Engagement
Academic Engagement is a new, public-facing division of the Libraries, under formation now. Departments include Library and Information Services, the Music Library, Research & Education Services, and Digital Scholarship and Distinctive Collections, which includes Digital Projects and Special Collections.
