What to Expect in the Libraries for Spring 2022: Masks and More (Updated April 11)
Posted April 11, 2022 in JMU Libraries News
Here’s what you need to know about using the Libraries in Spring 2022:
Masks (updated April 11)
Beginning April 11, masks will be optional in the Libraries. View JMU’s masking requirements page for more information.
Spaces and Hours
Most library spaces are available during our standard hours of operation. If changes are necessary, we will update our website and social media.
Some service areas may require an appointment. Please check the hours and access information for Special Collections, Media Production Services, and The Makery before planning a visit to these areas.
Course Reserves
Faculty may put physical materials (books, DVDs, etc.) or online materials on Course Reserves. Learn about Course Reserves for Spring 2022.
Consultations, Workshops, and Events
Check out our workshops, schedule a consultation, or request tech support (now called the Learning Innovations & Design Desk) to receive expert help for your teaching, learning, or research. JMU Libraries’ spaces may not be reserved for non-Libraries events at this time.
We’re Here For You!
There’s so much that you can do with the Libraries. Don’t miss our overviews of what we offer for students, graduate students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
Questions?
Please visit Ask the Library or stop by a library service desk if you have any questions about library operations or services this spring.
We will continue to update this page as more information becomes available. Please see the JMU Operating Plan for up-to-date campus information.
