Dive into Sea Changes, an immersive exhibit of Black poetry now on display at the Furious Flower Poetry Center. Curated by Bethany Nowviskie and Kimberly Gillette of JMU Libraries, this broadside exhibit explores powerful themes of endurance through shifting tides in politics, society, and the environment. Featuring works by renowned poets Derek Walcott, Camille Dungy, Claudia Rankine, Jericho Brown, Gregory Pardlo, Cornelius Eady, and Marcus Wicker, Sea Changes invites you to reflect on the currents that shape our world.

Open daily from 11am-5pm, the exhibit at Cardinal House runs through March 31, with a First Fridays reception planned for March 7, 5-7pm. Class and group visits can be arranged by emailing furiousflower@jmu.edu
