New Video About Historic Restoration in Carrier Library

Our newest video, Revealing and Restoring History in Carrier Library, highlights the incredible work being done to preserve and restore gorgeous 1939 elements of this beloved building. Original column capitals and brackets, some recently uncovered for the first time since the 1960s, have been carefully restored so they can shine when Carrier reopens for Fall semester 2026.

Watch the video to hear from construction project leaders, plaster restoration experts, and Libraries employees as they share how they worked together to protect these long-hidden gems for future generations to enjoy.
