New Collection Available in JMU Scholarly Commons

Digital Collections and Special Collections are pleased to share the William Garber Photograph Collection, 1930-1960, now available in JMU Scholarly Commons. The collection is comprised of about 1625 negatives and 70 prints taken and developed by William Garber of Garber’s Photo Shop in Mount Jackson, VA. Subject matter includes the people, places, industries, automobiles, sports, events, etc. of the northern Shenandoah Valley, primarily between Harrisonburg and Woodstock.
