JMU Integrative Design Technology Fellowship

Posted March 26, 2019 in Educational Technology News, Instructional Design News, JMU Libraries News

The JMU Integrative Design Technology Fellowship is a professional development program for faculty to learn about the design and implementation of curriculum to teach in the JMU 3SPACE 3D Printing Classroom.  This Fellowship is a partnership between JMU Libraries, JMU 3SPACE, and JMU General Education.

The main objective of the IDT Fellows program is to make it possible for more faculty to develop appropriate curriculum for courses in the JMU 3SPACE 3D printing classroom, either as proposals for the General Education 300-level integrative learning pilot program or for courses that match departmental objectives.

Faculty in the IDT Fellowship program will take part in a semester-long professional development course at JMU Libraries, commit to teach a course in JMU 3SPACE in Spring 2020 or Fall 2020, and present their curriculum development at conferences.
