Update on Interlibrary Loan, Scan & Deliver, and Course Reserves (as of August 24)
Posted August 24, 2020 in JMU Libraries News
Interlibrary Loan:
Libraries around the world are beginning to reopen, which allows Interlibrary Loan (ILL) staff to resume processing your ILL requests for books and other physical materials in addition to articles and book chapters.
ILL requests may be filled more slowly than usual, as our resource sharing colleagues are reopening at different times, with different levels of service.
ILL overdue notices were suspended in March 2020. We will deal with overdue items in collaboration with our ILL colleagues at a later date. If you have the ability to return ILL items, place them in any of the JMU Libraries’ book drops on campus.
Scan & Deliver:
Our Scan & Deliver service will resume on Wednesday, August 26. Scan & Deliver allows you to request scanned/digital copies of articles and book chapters from the JMU Libraries’ collections.
Course Reserves:
Course Reserves are limited to online/electronic resources this fall to support the health and safety of our students. Learn more.
Please check back here for further details about ILL service adjustments.
