Fall Frolic with Therapy Dogs – Oct 15

Stop by Rose or Carrier on Saturday afternoon, October 15, to meet some friendly therapy dogs! We’ll have dogs visiting outside Rose’s main entrance from 1 to 2pm. And then we’ll have dogs visiting outside Carrier’s starbucks-side entrance from 2:30 to 3:30.
Interacting with dogs may reduce college students’ feelings of anxiety and loneliness,according to recent research. Some stress, anxiety, and loneliness are normal parts of life, but feeling extremely stressed for long periods can be harmful. Research suggests that some people gain immense mental, social, and health benefits just from being in the presence of a dog or other companion animal. If you like dogs and want to feel the effects of some of these benefits, please drop by on Saturday!
