Faculty: Are You Using Open Textbooks?

If so, please fill out this survey to let us know! We’d love to hear about all the open textbooks or open course materials you are using, even if your course also requires some textbooks that cost money.

Either way, you’re invited to apply for two faculty stipends:

• After completing our self-paced workshop: Get Started Using Open Textbooks, you will be eligible to review an open textbook for a $200 stipend. Apply by March 1, 2024. 

• JMU Libraries’ Summer Stipend for Transitioning to OER program provides funding for faculty to do critical course redesign work, such as developing new assignments and graded activities, when transitioning to an open textbook or other open educational resources (OER). Apply by March 18, 2024.
