Fables and Folk Tales: New and Old
Posted October 2, 2017 in Exhibits
Studies show that readers of fables and folk tales (and, yes, some fairy tales) will find beauty in a thousand new faces, and that they almost certainly will enjoy the wealth and power of a thousand kings. Some readers may even gain the wisdom of a thousand sages while, it is true, others may drift endlessly through newer and newer imaginings.
And where, you ask, can one find such studies? No doubt but in a story that exists somewhere between fable and folk tale, a story bound to be found by browsing the new book display in Carrier Library!
