Job opening: Data Services Librarian

JMU Libraries seeks a Data Services Librarian who will assist in establishing campus-wide connections related to the data needs of faculty and students. They will provide support and content expertise related to the broad array of data-related activities on a research campus, including research data management, federal funding guidelines, consideration of data privacy and ethics, and awareness of data-related tools and products. As a member of the Scholarly Communications Strategies team, they will also collaborate with colleagues to support the mission of the department. 

This is a full-time, twelve-month, tenure-track position with instructional faculty status. The starting salary range is $60,000-$75,000.
