Community Seed Library Update

Posted April 21, 2020 in Community Seed Library News, JMU Libraries News

In an effort to continue getting seeds into the hands of our community members despite pandemic restrictions, the Community Seed Library started a pilot project to offer an off-site pick-up option, which was covered in the Daily News Record.

The seeds are processed according to safe handling guidelines and are distributed without person-to-person contact.

May 15 update: After a brief pause to catch up with the large number of seed requests, our form is open once again to accept online seed requests. Please visit the Community Seed Library page for instructions and to access the form.

April 28 update: To fulfill the large number of seed requests we have already received, we are temporarily closing our online seed request forms. We hope to start accepting seed requests again sometime in May, depending on supply. The Community Seed Library page will be updated when we know if we can start accepting requests again.
