The Makery in Rose Library (first floor)

While the Makery location in Rose Library will continue to offer drop-in visits, workshops, and appointments throughout the renovation and expansion of Carrier Library, you will notice some changes in The Makery in Carrier Library as early as January.

What’s changing? The Makery in Carrier Library will close on December 15 and will be available only by appointment starting in January 2023. Equipment Loans will also move from Carrier to Rose Library in January.

Why these changes in January? Closing the Carrier Makery except for appointments allows us to start moving makerspace equipment and supplies to Rose Library. It’s necessary to start moving these items now so that we have time to prepare our services and spaces to support you while Carrier is temporarily closed for renovation and expansion.

What’s next? More information is coming soon about services that will be available in Rose Library while Carrier Library is under construction!

Questions? Request an appointment or learn more about how The Makery can help you create, tinker, craft, invent, and discover new skills for both your work-related and personal projects!
