Colors of the Show

I have been a live painter for four years now, painting at various shows and music festivals across the United States. Music has always been one of my biggest inspirations for creation. Because of my experiences of painting at shows, I have heard many tales of joy and woe. Much like music, visual art speaks to the soul, and when they’re put together, you create a unique multi-sensory experience that sends people’s minds into the clouds while keeping their feet dancing around.

Artist Lacey Vilandry

I started my artistic journey as a small child, and my mom helped me grow and develop the discipline to practice art. Art has always been my go to therapy; since I started keeping sketchbooks in fourth grade, I have never been without one. I recently graduated with a BFA from James Madison University and have shown in several fine art gallery settings. During the summer of 2017 I continued my education with the Vienna Academy for Visionary Art. That fall I had the honor of being named Artist of the Year with the Crystal Chalice Awards. I am exploring all the different paths open to me, and while I’m excited to see where I go I am thoroughly enjoying the journey.
